Fellowship
We live in a disconnected and transient world. Many don't even know their neighbors. Many have lives which are so fast paced that there is little time or energy to really connect with others. To answer that hunger we all have for connection, many numb their ache by creating a "family" they meet with each night -- a family from the TV screen. A family one can "turn on" and "turn off" as needed, but a family that doesn't really meet the needs we all have for connection. God has designed something better -- something that feeds and encourages us and gives us the opportunity to feed and encourage others. The Body of Christ is meant to be a community of believers woven together in such a way that we experience grace and truth as we gather for worship, fellowship and service. It is the nature of sin and our brokenness to separate us from God and one another. It is the nature of God's redemptive work in Christ to restore us to fellowship with him and his people. Our hope is that this ongoing work of redemption will boldly manifest itself through our commitment to love one another as we join with all the saints in loving God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength. At IAC, we seek to help provide ways for people to connect -- through gathering people together. Keep watch on the "News" page to see when the next event is planned.
