Spiritual formation is the process of learning to live
into who God has made us to be. It is not about learning rules,
regulations, and lists of "do's" and "don'ts"; it is about a relationship with
a living Savior who will change us and shape us that our lives may glorify our
Father in Heaven. Spiritual Formation is about changing the way we think of God,
ourselves, others, and the world; which then will begin to change how we relate
to God and the world around us.
In our day, there is a need to step beyond
the American self-focused and success oriented understanding of
Christianity and into the richness of the faith as it is known
and expressed around the world and through time.
