Leadership of IAC

Leadership Team The primary role of the Leadership Team shall be to govern the affairs of the church, discern the direction of the church, help set the vision for the church, provide accountability and support for the Senior Pastor, equip others for the work of Christ, and broaden the base of leadership within the church. The Senior Pastor leads the Leadership Team and the Senior Pastor also submits to the Leadership Team, following the principle of mutual submission (Ephesians 5:21). The Leadership Team meets monthly.

Ministry Team Members of IAC lead the various ministries and provide leadership, vision, direction and support to each ministry. These leaders form the Ministry Team. The Ministry Team meets every other month. The objectives of the ministry team are: To help facilitate the incorporation of new members To provide an environment in which believers can grow and develop their own ministries, thereby contributing to the work of the Body of Christ. This will include developing people's own ministry call, transforming lives, growth in the knowledge and love of God, and equipping God's people to do the work of God Doing all of the above through a program that is steered rather than imposed (recognized rather than organized). The functions of the ministry team are didactic (facilitating opportunities for training and equipping) and coordinating (uniformity of vision and cooperation).
