Women at the Well

As God has been encouraging us to be authentic with Him and with one another, it has become evident that we need to find ways of doing that beyond Sunday mornings. In November of 2003 we began Women at the Well gatherings every couple of months at the Franciscan Retreat Center, for the women of IAC and their friends.

We gather on a Saturday from 9-3, hearing from women in our midst and taking time to reflect upon what God is doing in us – individually and corporately. Our gatherings have been both tender and powerful, and each bears the love and faithfulness of the Father as His children seek His face.

It's a simple day, with snacks provided and each person bringing her lunch, and in that simplicity there is an offering of our time and our hearts to Jesus in a way to which He hears and responds.
